Shahid Waheed
Mr. Waheed is the Chief Financial Officer of Schultze Asset
Management, LLC, responsible for all financial reporting, performance
calculations, trade settlement and broker reconciliations. Mr. Waheed
also serves on the Investment Committee of SAM.
Prior to joining SAM, Mr. Waheed was a Senior Accountant at
D.B. Zwirn & Co, a $5 billion AUM Hedge Fund. He was responsible
for all aspects of management company accounting globally.
Mr. Waheed also held a Sr. Investment Accountant position at
BISYS-RK Alternative Investment Services where he supervised a staff of
four accountants covering eight Fund of Hedge Funds. He began his
career at PNC Financial Services Group as an Investment Accountant.
In just over a year, Mr. Waheed was promoted to Sr. Investment
Accountant.
Mr. Waheed earned an MBA from Philadelphia
University, with a concentration
in accounting and a BA in Economics from the University of Western
Ontario. He also earned a Diploma in
Economics from the London School of Economics in August 1996.
