Michael J.
Iwanski
Mr.
Iwanski is the Chief Financial Officer of Schultze Asset Management, LLC,
responsible for all financial reporting, performance calculations, trade
settlement and broker reconciliations.
Prior
to joining Schultze, Mr. Iwanski was the CFO of Weston Group, LLC, a New
York-based international investment advisory firm. He was responsible for all accounting,
compliance and operations.
Mr.
Iwanski held CFO positions at Orientation.com and Kaufman Brothers, LP, a
boutique technology focused broker-dealer and investment bank. He was also CFO at Violy, Byorum &
Partners, LLC, a Latin America investment bank and CFO of Garantia, Inc.,
the New York brokerage subsidiary of Banco de Investimentos Garantia, S.A.,
a full service Brazilian investment bank.
His first CFO position was with CCF International Finance Corp., the
New York-based U.S.
brokerage subsidiary of Credit Commercial de France.
Earlier
in his career, he was an Examiner with the National Association of
Securities Dealers (“NASD”), which consolidated its Member
Regulation Department to become FINRA in July 2007, auditing operational
functions and financial compliance of brokerages and advisory firms. He began his career as an Auditor with
Wolf and Co.
Mr.
Iwanski earned a BA in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin
– Milwaukee,
with concentrations in Accounting, Finance and MIS.
